There is a new reality style show about Ruby Gettinger from Savannah, Georgia. The program debuted this November on the Style Channel about the her path to loosing weight from being at 500 lbs. She is spunky and interesting to watch as she openly discusses her struggles to get out of the danger zone.

Her path began as her Doctor informed her that if she does not do something soon, she will not live a long life. She has put together her own “Team” complied of her doctor, a Nutritionist, Personal Trainer and even a Psychologist to help her deal with her food issues.

Ruby’s determination and drive to work through her previous weight loss challenges is inspirational and encouraging. Check her out Sundays on the Style Channel 8/7C.

** This is not the website for Ruby. Please refer to the Style.com link. Thank you.

Go Ruby! You are an inspiration to all! Watch your show last night and saw you walk the breast cancer walk… GOOD FOR YOU! YOU DID IT! I had gastric bypass in December and have lost 107lbs. I understand the challenges you face and how hard it is to excercise when your big & beautiful. If you ever need to talk to someone about gastric bypass from a non-medical expert opinion, please feel free to email me. It’s not a quick fix like most people think but a new tool for your tool box so to speak… Keep up the Great Job! God Bless You!

    HUGS!!
